About Edible Neighborhoods
- Edible Neighborhoods is a campaign to empower everyone in Seattle and everywhere else to take the first steps toward turning our communities into better wildlife corridors and resources for healthy, home-grown foods. The campaign is backed by the citizens' group Green Lake Green Thumbs, which is affiliated with Sustainable Green Lake. We work to improve our neighborhood's role as a functioning, healthy ecosystem where humans and wildlife mutually thrive. We support and inspire the community to engage in projects that restore and enhance ecological function to meet human and wildlife needs.
